The Borant Corporation is the alien corporation that executed a legal mining claim on Earth, destroying all surface structures and converting the planet's interior into the 18-level dungeon. They operate Dungeon Crawler World — the intergalactic broadcast of the crawl.

The Borant Corporation filed a legal claim under Syndicate law and destroyed Earth's surface on January 3rd at 2:23 AM Pacific Standard Time. Survivors who were outdoors were given one hour to enter dungeon entrances. The dungeon is broadcast as entertainment to quintillions of viewers across the Syndicate's 3+ billion star systems.
