Overview

The Transformation refers to the moment Earth was destroyed by the Borant Corporation on January 3rd at 2:23 AM Pacific Standard Time. All structures on the surface were crushed by the alien mining claim execution. Survivors who were outdoors at that moment were given one hour to enter dungeon entrances.

What Happened

The Borant Corporation executed a legal mining claim under Syndicate law, destroying all surface structures simultaneously. The planet's interior was converted into an 18-level dungeon broadcast as Dungeon Crawler World. Approximately 13 million people entered dungeon entrances worldwide.

Carl was outside his apartment retrieving Princess Donut (his ex-girlfriend Beatrice's cat) when the buildings were destroyed. He ran to the nearest entrance spotlight.

Outcome

~13 million crawlers entered the dungeon. Earth's surface is gone. The dungeon broadcast began.
