Version: Book 4

Bestiary: Floor 5 — The Bubbles

Floor 5 is divided into individual bubbles, each containing four quadrants: Air, Land, Water, and Subterranean. Each quadrant has its own terrain, mob ecology, and castle with boss guardians. The boss tier hierarchy on Floor 5 is: Neighborhood Boss → City Boss → Borough Boss. Borough bosses are the highest tier and guard quadrant castle interiors.

MobLevelNotes
Festering Ghoul18Result of a mob dying from Stage 1 DTs. Not truly undead — the ghoul designation is a dungeon classification.
Blister Ghoul20Generated at Station 72 by a soul-crystal-powered machine. One per non-undead mob death anywhere on the floor. Aggregates toward large crawler groups.
Wrath GhoulUnknownMore powerful ghoul variant that congregates at stairwell stations. When enough merge, they form a Province Boss.
Province Boss (Wrath Ghoul Merger)UnknownFormed when enough Wrath Ghouls merge. Fills the entire stairwell chamber. Covered in screaming mouths; forms giant body-part pincers. Guarded Stations 36 and 48. Too powerful for Floor 4 crawlers to kill.
Babababoon17Stage 2 DT mob — double strength from withdrawal. Found throughout the Iron Tangle.
Stage 3 DT MonsterVaries (~neighborhood boss)Hippo-sized; transparent jelly-like skin with original creature's skull visible inside. Thrashing tentacles with mouths at the ends. When killed, releases thousands of Krakaren Crotch Dumplings.
Krakaren Crotch Dumpling1 (grows rapidly)Grain-of-rice-sized parasites released by Stage 3 DT monster deaths. Grow to monkey-sized (Level 14–17) within hours, then human-sized (Level 20–23) by floor's end. Caustic blood; resistant to lightning and ice; vulnerable to fire and psychic attacks.
Razor Fox22Ninja-star-throwing foxes. On Floor 4, primarily encountered in Stage 3 DT form (unrecognizable).
Wall MonitorUnknownLizard monsters living on the interior walls of the Abyss. Several crawlers were pulled into the Abyss attempting to fight them.
Frying EelUnknownMetallic armored snakes with a heat attack. Encountered throughout Floor 4 stations.
