Floor 8 Mob Reference
Floor 8: The Ghosts of Earth — Earth's surface populated with memory ghosts (non-corporeal recordings). Main antagonist threats come from corrupted spirit creatures, freed demons, and undead coastal animals.
Spirit Creatures
| Mob | Level | Notes |
|---|
| Ghommid | Varies | Spirit creatures native to thin-veiled areas of Earth. In settled form they are peaceful NPCs who establish villages. Corrupted ("Unsettled") Ghommids become Level 30 undead. The Colón Cemetery housed a large corrupted Ghommid settlement called Pueblo de los Olvidados. |
| Memory Ghost | N/A | Non-corporeal recordings of Earth humans, vehicles, and animals from the last days before the Transformation. Not technically mobs — they cannot attack. Ghost vehicles still move and can knock crawlers off bikes. Touching a memory ghost causes it to vanish. |
| Residual | Varies | Long-lived, non-standard entities left by alien factions in thin-veiled Earth locations before the dungeon started. Distinct from memory ghosts; Residuals have agency. Carl encountered two: his father's dying trailer in Iowa and a Cuba homeless shelter with a pre-written message in Syndicate Standard. |
Demons
| Mob | Level | Notes |
|---|
| Pleasure Demon | 140 | Highest tier of the freed demons scattered across Floor 8. Freed from shells, they scatter and must be re-contained or destroyed. |
| Amayon | Boss | A massive demon possessing the Madre de Aguas (a giant serpent of Cuban legend). Weaponized by Sister Ines Quiteria after she was corrupted by the Nebulars. |
Undead Coastal Animals (Part III)
| Mob | Level | Notes |
|---|
| Zombie Crab | Varies | Undead crabs that swarm Havana in Part III. Operate as a communal mind. Crawlers grabbed by zombie crabs are pulled into hell. |
| Zombie Seal | Varies | Undead seals accompanying the zombie crab swarm in Part III. |
Other Mobs
| Mob | Notes |
|---|
| Duende | Small mobs found specifically in the Havana area. |
Floor 8 Boss Summary
| Boss | Level | Type | Notes |
|---|
| Kipper | Boss | Corrupted Ghommid boss | Boss of the Colón Cemetery Ghommid settlement. Defeated as part of the Pueblo de los Olvidados quest. |
| Amayon | Boss | Demon / serpent | Defeated in Part III. Controlled by a corrupted Sister Ines. |
Floor 6 Mob Reference
Floor 6 is a vast jungle world. The dominant mechanic is the active hunt: 360 alien hunters are locked in the city of Zockau for a 30-hour grace period, then released to pursue and kill crawlers. The floor also contains indigenous NPC races, named bosses, and hunter pets.
Boss tier hierarchy on Floor 6: Neighborhood Boss → City Boss → Borough Boss → Country Boss
Dungeon-Native Races
| Mob | Level | Notes |
|---|
| Funeral Bell | 95 | Mushroom guards protecting smaller Floor 6 settlements. Thin, tall, conical mushroom-cap head (looks like a coolie hat); black robe with red highlights; white-painted face. On duty day and night; no sense of humor. |
| Bugbear | Varies | Engineer race in the Kapok district. Large, furry, goblin-faced with pointed ears. Orange-brown or red fur. On the same evolutionary tree as goblins and hobgoblins. Known for involuntary explosions and mechanical construction. |
| Ursine | Varies | Large bear-like humanoids. Second most common race in the Kapok district. Allies of Carl's crew; run major settlements outside hunter-controlled Zockau. |
| Bush Elf | Varies | Common civilian race in the jungle. Appear throughout Floor 6; some were casualties in the Fort Freedom assault. |
| Naiad | Varies | Aquatic race living in the river system. The Naiad Confederacy once controlled Fort Freedom. Known to eat anyone who approaches the water when food is scarce. |
| Were-Castor | Varies | Beaver-form creatures; allies of Signet. Their guardian Miss Nadine died during the Fort Freedom assault. Holger is a notable named were-castor. |
| Changeling | Varies | Shapeshifting creatures; allied with Carl's crew during the assault on the high elf castle. Led by the Sledge to the castle underground entrance. |
| Sambhur | Varies | Large elk-like creatures used as mounts by high elf soldiers. During the ch74 cage fight, Queen Imogen flung a flaming sambhur that killed Dmitri and Maxim Popov. |
| Mantis Nymph | Varies | Offspring of Circe Took/Diwata. Filled the cage fight arena in enormous swarms. After Diwata was expelled, the nymphs turned on Circe Took and killed her. |
Hunter Races (Floor 6 Antagonists)
| Mob | Level | Notes |
|---|
| Night Weasel | ~25 (Tootsie) | Small, jet-black, six-legged ferret-like creatures with oversized teeth. Hunters' scout pets. Can turn invisible. Bite causes paralysis for up to 5 minutes. Zabit's Night Weasel was named Tootsie. |
| Goriff | Varies | Blue humanoid aliens with twin antennae resembling elephant trunks. Hunter race. Carry pulse rifles and electric body armor. Florin killed two during the floor. |
| Dreadnought | Varies | Large humanoid hunters with red skin. Good at direct combat; poor at tactics or magic. Their Faction Wars stake was abandoned after Carl destroyed their army on a previous floor. |
