Hole
Overview
Hole is a utility spell used by Princess Donut that creates a temporary hole through solid objects such as doors, floors, and walls. On Floor 5, with the Glass Cannon class, it became a powerful tactical tool capable of dropping enemies through surfaces and enabling complex entry into locked areas.

First Appearance
Book 4, Chapter 6
Mechanics
- Base depth of roughly eight inches; on Floor 5 with Glass Cannon class, Donut can reach approximately four feet of depth
- Diameter can be widened at the cost of reduced depth — on Floor 5, Donut could achieve approximately 1.5 meters diameter
- Temporary — withdrawing the spell causes any missing section of material to reappear; objects or limbs caught in the space when the spell drops will be displaced, crushed, or destroyed
- Does not require a key — Donut can remove deadbolts, hinges, and door sections directly
Tactical Notes
- Door bypass: Carl reaches through the Hole to unlock doors from the other side, or Donut creates a hole large enough to remove the deadbolt mechanism entirely
- Enemy drop: During the Vahana hijack, Donut opened a 1.5-meter diameter hole in the basket floor, dropping three gnomes (Leon, Crixus, and pilot Hicks) out of the balloon
- Observation port: Donut opened downward-view holes in floors so Carl could access spaces below while hanging from above (Mrs. Ghazi fight)
- Crowd-use smoke cover: Used in conjunction with a Smoke Curtain during the Vahana assault
