Odette
Overview​
Odette hosts a popular intergalactic talk show focused on the crawlers, separate from the official Dungeon Crawler World broadcast. She is one of Carl and Donut's most important off-floor advisors, offering strategic guidance, media access, and warnings about dangerous factions. She has a deeply complicated history with Mordecai.

Role in the Story So Far​
Odette has been a consistent advisor to Carl and Donut since Floor 1. She warned Carl about the Valtay Corporation — a powerful parasitic entity that prefers aquatic hosts — and hinted at a hidden class option available only to high-Charisma crawlers that would "make someone very angry." She recommended Carl prioritize pathfinder or mapping abilities in class selection.
On Floor 4, her crab ranch sponsored Hekla, which created a conflict of interest when Hekla's betrayal of Katia was revealed. At the end of Floor 4, Loita (Bloom party) censored and restricted Odette's interview access. When Odette began to reference something about "Chris," Loita cut her off. Odette and Loita have a complicated prior history involving Loita's grandmother.
Odette's warning about Chris was an unresolved thread that connected to the Maggie My / Chris Andrews 2 parasite situation resolved in Book 4.
