Paz Lo

Overview​

Paz Lo is a human Santero-class crawler who joins Carl and Donut's group at the start of Floor 8 in Havana, Cuba. He is the cousin of Anton Lopez and is deeply protective of Sister Ines Quiteria.

Paz is a mid-thirties Hispanic man who wears glowing silver plate armor with platform metal boots that add 7–8 inches to his height. Only his head is exposed, topped with a backwards baseball cap. He has a wide-eyed, scared look about him. A palm frond glows over his head indicating his deity worship.

Abilities​

  • Santero class: Worshipping Ogun grants immunity to charm effects and bonus weapon damage.
  • Aggro against undead: His class causes undead to single out him as their only target, ignoring other party members.
  • Strength boost: Gains temporary strength each time an unsettled creature is killed nearby.
  • Directional self-destruct spell: A rare and powerful ability — kills Paz on casting but produces a devastating directional blast.

Role in the Story​

Paz and his group were initially hostile to Carl and Donut when they first met, having been shown an old clip of Donut threatening catgirls. Sister Ines de-escalated the situation. They joined Carl's group to clear the Colón Cemetery boss area together.

Paz was previously in the same bubble as Quan Ch on Floor 5 and did not get along with him.
