The Prism Kingdom

Overview

The Prism Kingdom is an alien political entity whose royalty interacted with crawlers during Floor 4. Princess D'nadia gave Donut the Prism Goggles; Princess Formidable gave Katia the Bolt of Ophiotaurus. Their broader motivation for these gifts is unresolved.

Known Facts

Two Prism Kingdom princesses appeared independently during Floor 4 — Princess D'nadia near Station 433 and Princess Formidable after Hekla's death. Both gave unique items to members of Carl's party.

The Prism Kingdom appears to have a benevolent or at least interested relationship with specific crawlers. Whether they are external observers, a dungeon-affiliated faction, or allied with another political power is not explained in Book 3.
