Mimic Rex
Overview
The Mimic Rex was the most dangerous boss on Floor 4 — a Level 90 city boss credited with over 23,000 crawler deaths. One of six Station Mimics occupying key Iron Tangle hub stations, it concealed Station 433's hidden stairwell for the entirety of the floor until Carl's operations forced a confrontation.

Description
The Mimic Rex could disguise itself as station infrastructure — including a railroad crossing barrier — to lure victims. At full size its mouth was 300 feet wide and could transform to mimic entire buildings. It spawned Jabbering Jibber-Jabbers (Level 35): giant mouths on millipede legs that transfer all consumed material to the Mimic as stored energy.
Weakness
City boss mimics cannot be killed by severing — severed pieces grow legs and return to the main body. To kill: separate more than 50% of the mass from the main body simultaneously. The separated pieces then attack independently and die only when the main body dies.
Outcome
Carl detonated the Doomsday Nuke at Station 433, disrupting the Mimic's position. An interdiction portal cart accidentally teleported the Mimic Rex to Trainyard E. Grull (war god, invoked by Prince Maestro) appeared and cleaved the Mimic in half — splitting more than 50% of its mass simultaneously, killing it permanently.
Loot
Map of the Stars — adds boss locations and descriptions to the map for a large area. Looted by Carl.
Lore
The Station Mimics in the Iron Tangle represent the H'lene — an ancient alien race (now extinct) that set up six waystations near the galactic center to rob and eat travelers. The H'lene were destroyed by Valtay and the orcs.
