The Krakaren

Overview​

An alien species that served as the primary biological threat during the Floor 4 endgame. The Krakaren established the Rev-Up Vitamin Shot addiction cycle through the Iron Tangle's water supply — their parasitic offspring being the final obstacle for crawlers attempting to escape the floor.

Known Facts​

  • The Krakaren set up the Rev-Up Vitamin Shot distribution network through the Iron Tangle's water supply, creating a floor-wide addiction cycle in mobs.
  • Stage 3 DT monster deaths hatch Krakaren Crotch Dumplings — tiny parasites (grain-of-rice sized at birth) that grow rapidly to monkey-size (Juvenile Clonelings, Level 14–17) within hours, then to human-size (Level 20–23) by the end of the floor.
  • The neighborhood boss Krakaren at Station 24 ran an adult drug manufacturing operation — a much larger specimen than the offspring.
  • At floor collapse, crotch dumplings (grown to human size) swarmed through the escape tunnels between the noodle layers, attacking fleeing crawlers.
