Signet (Tsarina Signet)
Overview​
Signet is a half-naiad warrior whose body is covered in animated tattoo-warriors that fight on her behalf. Her quest to reclaim her ancestral castle and kill Queen Imogen — her half-sister — is the narrative spine of Book 5's second and fourth parts.

Description​
A half-naiad (aquatic race) woman covered in living tattoos that represent her fallen army. The tattoos animate and fight on her behalf. She carries an ancestral curse that prevents her from ever ruling — something she cannot remove.
Known Facts​
- Her half-sister Queen Imogen was responsible for destroying her people. Their father was King Finian (high elf, now dead); their mother was a naiad.
- Led the assault on Fort Freedom with were-castors, Areson the Wise, and Edgar. The castle was successfully liberated in Chapter 28.
- Was teleported directly into the Butcher's Masquerade ballroom by Apito (the floor god) — not Carl's doing. The AI's intervention.
- Her original plan was for Signet to appear in the castle to draw Imogen out of the party. The AI collapsed that plan by teleporting her in early.
- When Imogen died, the Quest "The Vengeance of the Daughter" completed.
- The castle she liberated teleported to Floor 9 during the final battle, taking Signet's remaining forces with it.
