Clockwork Triplicate

Overview​

Clockwork Triplicate is a scroll-based spell used by Princess Donut. It creates two additional temporary combat duplicates of a targeted entity. It is the key element of the Surprise Three tactic.

Mechanics​

Creates two functional combat duplicates of the target for a limited duration. Duplicates can deal damage. Duration is short — the tactic requires immediate coordinated action.

System Description​

Creates two clockwork duplicates of the target entity. Duplicates are fully functional for combat purposes for a limited duration.

Tactical Notes​

Used in the Surprise Three tactic:

  1. Carl opens a Hole beneath a boss
  2. Carl jumps in and attacks
  3. Donut casts Clockwork Triplicate on Carl — three Carls attack simultaneously in the enclosed space

Used to defeat: Gore-Gore (Ch 84), Levi the 7th (Ch 85).
