The World Dungeon / Dungeon System
Overview​
The World Dungeon (also called Dungeon Crawler World, or simply The Crawl) is an 18-level underground dungeon built from the crushed matter of Earth's surface. It is operated by the Borant Corporation under Syndicate law, and simultaneously broadcast as an entertainment program watched by quintillions across the Syndicate.

Structure​
- 18 levels total
- Each level has a collapse timer; all remaining matter is reclaimed when it expires
- Floor 1: 5 days
- Successive floors have longer timers
- Approximately 150,000 dungeon entrances appeared worldwide at the time of the Transformation; entry was open for one hour
Crawler Mechanics​
- Crawlers cannot distribute stat points until choosing a race and class, which occurs on Floor 3
- Each level-up grants 3 stat points (held until Floor 3)
- Cameras follow crawlers at all times except inside restrooms
Viewership Economy​
- Crawlers accumulate: views, followers, favorites, and patrons
- Loot box tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Legendary, Celestial
- Patrons send Benefactor Boxes, exclusive to them
- The ratings system directly affects the quality and frequency of loot rewards
Oversight​
- A Syndicate-neutral observer AI supervises the dungeon to ensure rules are followed
- Crawlers who disparage the Borant Corporation or the Syndicate on-camera risk having their "experience accelerated" — an implied punishment
