Princess Donut

Overview​

Princess Donut (full name: Princess Donut the Queen Anne Chonk) is Carl's feline companion and co-protagonist. A Grand Champion Persian show cat who gained full sapience upon entering the dungeon, she is a formidable crawler in her own right, with extraordinarily high Charisma and a powerful Magic Missile spell.

Description​

A tortoiseshell Persian cat with a flat, squished face and fluffy coloring. She was a Best-in-Show champion before the Transformation. She gained the ability to speak and reason upon entering the dungeon.

Role in the Story So Far​

Donut was outside with Carl on the night of the Transformation — she had jumped from his apartment window onto a tree and refused to come back in. Carl carried her into the dungeon. She registered as Crawler #4,119, entering just before Carl.

Within the dungeon, Donut gained speech and personality. She is bold, opinionated, and acutely conscious of her public image and intergalactic audience. Her extremely high Charisma makes her beloved by NPCs and viewers alike. She fights primarily using Magic Missile, fired from her eyes.

On Floor 2, she bonded with Mongo — a velociraptor she obtained from a treasure room — naming him Royal Steed. She saved Carl's life during the Krakaren boss fight, dragging his critically injured body to safety.

Her race and class remain unselected at the end of Floor 2; that choice occurs on Floor 3.
