Role in the Story So Far
Donut is Carl's constant companion and the show's breakout star. On Floor 3 she selected Cat as her race and Former Child Actor as her class. Her extreme Charisma unlocked the Love Vampire innate ability. On Floor 4 she rode Mongo into battle using the Mongoliensis Saddle, used Clockwork Triplicate scrolls as the key element of the Surprise Three tactic, and killed hostile crawler Ji-Hoon (her first confirmed player kill). She received Prism Goggles from Princess D'nadia which revealed Hekla's invisible bolt attacks.
At the start of Floor 5, Donut chose the class Glass Cannon, sacrificing Constitution for improved spellcasting. She acquired Wall of Fire and Astral Paw spells, received the Belt of Buoyancy to cope with the water quadrant, and upgraded her sunglasses via a benefactor box. Her Dodge skill reached Level 10, granting the Deflection buff that halves missile accuracy against her. Her Animal Wrangling skill reached Level 8. By the end of Floor 5 she was Level 39.
On Floor 6 (Book 5), Donut continued as a Glass Cannon spellcaster, playing a critical role in the Fort Freedom assault and the Butcher's Masquerade cage fight where she used Laundry Day (level 15) to expel the immortal deity Diwata.
On Floor 8 (Book 6), Donut reclassed to Master Telephone Psychic, gaining psychic-based spells including Brain Freeze (level 8), Bad Attitude, and Why Are You Hitting Yourself? She was ranked #2 on the leaderboard. Her totem deck for T'Ghee Faction Wars included Shi Maria, Alpha Carl, Geraldo, Skylar Spinach, Raul, Asojano, Golden Uzi Jesus, Lazarus, and Jola. In the Chapter 60 climax, she struck Quan Ch with a golden PK skull before Carl's totems finished him. She received a Filthy Little Crawler's Book of Voodoo from the Gold Prepotente Box but immediately declared she would not use it.

Key Floor 9 Events (Book 7)
Donut enters Floor 9 ranked #2. She receives the Tiara of a Thousand Lights and Accompanying Charge Pillow from sponsor Long Haul Biological Waste Management Solutions (a Crest company). She also acquires three new spells from Floor 8 loot boxes: Shield (chains with tech shield), Sentry (war protection), and You Are Not Done Yet — a black tome with purple wisps that Mordecai describes as "more insidious" than Second Chance.
She kills Empress D'nadia (Prism faction warlord) in chapter 27 via Mongo, earning the Gavrilo Princip achievement and a Legendary 1914 box. All Prism assets transfer to the Princess Posse. She also uses Simoom (Ferdinand's albino rhinoceros) as a temporary mount in one battle.
She and Katia jointly inherit Blood Sultanate assets after Vinata's death in chapter 55.
At the very end of Floor 9, Donut saves the Kimaris stuffed animal card from the table — Bautista's Sheol demon figure. Samantha recognizes Kimaris as connected to blocked memories: "He's the one who gave me the potion that would put my baby in me." Donut intends to hold onto it.

Key Changes (Book 8)
During Floor 10, Beatrice (Carl's ex) attempted to force Donut to accept a deal, claiming to have accepted it on her behalf. Donut refused and the deal was voided.
Scolopendra's first Nine-Tier Attack (Heat 7) grew Donut significantly in size and power, while Carl shrank into a dachshund. The effect reversed when entering Floor 11.
On Floor 11, Donut selected the Elite Gurkha Warrior class (Perpetual Tank subclass):
- Boosts skills for all pets and hired mercenaries
- Mongo receives kukri claw cap upgrades
- Cockroach skill boosted to level 15
- Comes with themed wide-brimmed camel-colored Gurkha hats (boost melee skills)
Donut received the Tome of Gatekeeper as a floor prize: removes a target's class-based skills. Marked as Advance Reader Copy — usable only on Floor 12+.
In the Floor 11 arena, Donut fired Katia's Bolt of Ophiotaurus into both of Emberus's eye sockets (pinning the god), then teleported both herself and Carl to safety via Puddle Jumper (Level 17).
Donut accidentally gave Carl the wrong pet biscuit during the inventory swap (Eris's chaos effect), resulting in Scolopendra becoming a sapient humanoid crawler rather than a pet.
