Grigori the Placid

Overview​

Grigori the Placid is a Level 93 Fleshmancer NPC who worships the god Gula. He was hired by Meadow Lark as a mercenary on Floor 10 and later joined Carl's group. He became the involuntary narrator of the Parade of Horribles when the dungeon AI possessed his body.

Role in the Story So Far​

Grigori was hired by Meadow Lark and later worked with Carl's racing team as a mercenary in Heat 5. During the Gasworks Screw Factory race, he performed fleshmancy mid-race on the inverted ceiling to reunite Dong Quixote with Corcunda (their separated body components).

During the Floor 11 Parade of Horribles, after Chaco (the designated Grand Master) broke down and was physically punished by the AI, the dungeon AI possessed Grigori. As an NPC (unlike former-crawler Chaco), Grigori could be fully possessed. He moved with superhero-like speed to reach Lamashtu the donkey, then delivered the AI's complete five-part cosmological history of the Primals.

After the AI released him, he returned to the crawlers' garage, confused.
