The Nebulars

Overview​

The Nebulars are an alien faction operating covertly within Earth's dungeon. In Book 6, they take a central antagonist role in the Part III Havana arc when they corrupt Sister Ines Quiteria, transforming her into a weapon against Carl's group.

Known Facts​

  • The Nebulars possessed a cache of freed demons in Havana, including a group of level 140 pleasure demons and the massive demon Amayon (inhabiting the Madre de Aguas snake).
  • They corrupted Sister Ines by giving her control over the demons — transforming her from a holy warrior who grew stronger from killing demons into an antagonist commanding them.
  • Their goal in the Havana endgame appears to have been preventing access to the final key door at Iglesia de Jesús de Miramar.
  • A pre-written message in Syndicate Standard was found on the wall of the Cuba homeless shelter, suggesting advance knowledge of crawler movements.
  • The Syndicate called an emergency session in response to the events at the end of Floor 8.
