Floor 11: Parade of Horribles
Overview
Floor 11 is the Parade of Horribles. Twenty-three crawlers had 90 minutes to build themed parade float processions, then marched 3 kilometers along a yellow-brick road before reaching the arena. The floor culminated in the Floor 11 arena battle against Krakaren Prime and Scolopendra.
23 crawlers entered Floor 11. By the end, 19 survived (plus Penelope 3 and Sexy Scolopendra) to enter Floor 12.
Key Sub-Locations
Parade Staging Area
Served as the combined safe room for multiple teams. Five parade procession groups were formed; crawlers had 90 minutes to build floats. Garages combined across the groups, providing shared space and resources.
The Yellow Brick Road
A 3-kilometer parade route with no visible light source and a surreal dusky glow. Lined on both sides by thousands of Horribles — masked avatars of Primals and dead sapient entities from past dungeon seasons. The Horribles stood in silence as the parade passed.
The crowd wore colorful round masks depicting grotesque caricatures (goblins, trolls, demons, etc.) in the Mardi Gras / Carnival style, but more sinister. The fog that obscured the grass on either side did not encroach onto the road.
At the judging stands, some audience members were tied up — these were stand-ins brought by audience vote. Near the arena entrance, the Horribles shed their masks as the Destruction float fired, revealing their true forms before disappearing into the fog.
The Judging Stands
Located near the end of the parade route. A jumbotron above the arena entrance showed the parade participants' faces. The AI (speaking through Grigori) narrated the five-part history of the Primals from a platform on Lamashtu the Donkey's back as the floats passed.
The Arena
A massive open area (size of a dozen football fields) with tightly packed dirt ground. At the center stood a massive white tree — hundreds of feet tall — with Krakaren Prime atop it. The arena filled with monsters from Floor 10 and their stand-ins.
The arena entrance bore a banner reading "Judging Stand." Bleachers lined the sides, filled with silent Horrible avatars as witnesses.
