Florin

Overview​

Florin is a Crocodilian Shotgun Messenger-class crawler whose dungeon partner Ifechi was killed by Lucia Mar in a Floor 5 recap. He wields a magical Mossberg shotgun with unlimited ammunition. Emotionally vulnerable following Ifechi's death, he was rescued by Carl's group in Chapter 33 and joined Katia's splinter team at the end of Book 4.

Role in the Story So Far​

Florin was first referenced in the Chapter 4 recap alongside the footage of Ifechi's death. He appeared directly in Chapter 33 when Carl's group rescued him. Despite his grief, he remained a functional fighter with an effective weapon in the magical Mossberg shotgun. The golden PK mark on him indicates prior kills of other crawlers. At the end of Book 4 he joined Katia's splinter team.

On Floor 6 he fought as part of Team Katia, killing two Goriff hunters and taking their pulse rifles and electric body armor (though the equipment was restricted to its dead owners and could not be equipped).

On Floor 8, Florin's starting location was Ecuador. He was assigned a regional quest to hunt a powerful Unique that was terrorizing his area and received a shotgun upgrade. He remained in contact with Lucia Mar during this period.

On Floor 9 (Book 7), Florin handles the orc offensive during Operation Ruin. He captures two Operatic Collective armor pieces (chapter 33 warlord update) and talks Lucia Mar into partying with him — though she was described as "sketchy" and neither ultimately took a deal. He stole a replacement plane now held in the Princess Posse castle hangar (to replace the Party Planner). He enters a Floor 10 stairwell at the end of the floor.
