Overview​

Eileithyia is the Greek goddess of childbirth, active during the Floor 8–9 crawl season and sponsored by the alien Huanxin Jinx. As part of the 12th-floor Ascendency game, she recruited the unsponsored goddess Yemaya as her retainer — a resurrection facilitated by crawlers who repaired her shrine. On Floor 8, she offered divine boons to Katia Grim, resolving the curse from the Crown of Sepsis Whore tiara.

  • For the Ascendency game on Floor 12, sponsored deities may recruit one unsponsored deity as a retainer. Eileithyia's retainer is Yemaya, who was resurrected when crawlers repaired her shrine on Floor 8 (arranged by Huanxin through Eileithyia's quest interface).
  • On Floor 8, Katia Grim worshipped Eileithyia and was offered three boons: (1) triple Constitution; (2) impregnation, which would immediately remove her from the dungeon; or (3) transfer to the 12th floor as Eileithyia's intern. The chosen option resolved the curse placed by the Crown of Sepsis Whore tiara.
  • Huanxin Jinx used Eileithyia's quest chat as a covert communication channel with Carl throughout Floor 8.
  • Seen by Jamal during the Zerzura event at the end of Floor 9. He excitedly described having seen "goddesses Eileithyia and Yemaya."
